The Simpson Family

Today is International Women's Day so it seems fitting that today's post features the family of one of my favourite Saskatoon women, Rebecca Simpson. I actually have a lot of favourite Saskatoon women but I have the pleasure of working with Rebbecca and her equally amazing business partner, Jordana on a regular basis through our joint Cravings and Heather Fritz Photography projects. Rebecca's family was the first "Day in the Life" photo shoot that I did here in Saskatoon and remains one of my favourite finished set of candid family photos. While this shoot was a bit more structured, it was just as much fun to see Adam and Noah creatively show off their new duds from mom's store, Cravings kids lifestyle boutique.

New Maternity Lounge

The new Cravings Maternity Lounge at the Royal University Hospital here in Saskatoon is complete. After countless hours of work by cravings baby & maternity boutique owners, Jordana Jacobson and Rebecca Simpson and over $40,000 worth of donations by local businesses, the new lounge was officially unveiled tonight. I was very proud to be part of this great project. The Secret is Out

For the past few months, Jordana Jacobson and Rebecca Simpson, the already-busy co-owners of cravings baby & maternity boutique and cravings kids lifestyle boutique have been all over the city, back and forth meeting with local businesses and up at the Royal University Hospital Maternity Ward as they finalize the details on their re-model of the outdated maternity lounge! I so pleased to be a part of the project and can't wait to show you the "AFTERS" (featuring lots of Heather Fritz Photography fine art pieces)...word from insiders at the hospital is that the renovation is already spectacular!
