You can't really tell here, but Alison is pregnant. You also can't really tell here but Mike is on crutches and can't walk at all. YOU CAN tell here that Emily is precious and busy and not at all phased by the fact that we forgot her mittens! Here's hoping that Baby number 2 is just as sweet!
I thought I should find time to post my last pre-Christmas photo shoot before Christmas comes again! You will remember this awesome little family in-the-making here and then again when Mister Jack was born here. Featured here is a little pre-Christmas shoot we did...my baby, how you've grown!
The ladies of Saskatoon gathered in high style this past weekend at Rembrandts in the historic Hotel Senator to enjoy high tea. Well, THE High Tea co-hosted by myself, Molly Lux of Lux Events and Marla Boyer-Cook of SightForStyle Designs was a resounding success. Hundreds of dollars were raised for cancer research and everyone had a great time. Thank you beautiful ladies and generous sponsors, let's do it again, shall we?
Tomorrow is The High Tea. I'm pretty excited. I wanted to do a fundraiser for my Weekend to End Women's Cancer Walk but I wanted it to be beautiful, fun, different and full of excellent photo opportunities (it's what I do after all). The High Tea is a fun little idea I stole from my good buddy Tairalyn. She's got this awesome blog called Lah Tea Dah. You should check it out, really!
Anyway, I asked Molly Lux of Lux Events and Marla Boyer-Cook ofSightForStyle Designs ~ Couture Bouquets and Accessories to partner with me and WOWSA! good choices on my part! I'll be posting a whole bunch of images from the tea (and all the generous sponsors too) in the next week but I just wanted to share this cute little project I did in preparation of the big day. Introducing LEVI and TAYLOR, my tea babies.
Both of these babies had the most trusting mamas (one had the MOST helpful grandma too) and didn't bat an eyelash when I surrounded their babies with china teacups full of tea! In the posts following The High Tea, I will feature each baby on their own but for now, here's a little teaser of the what's to come!
This is Kingston (and Jim and Joline), you met them here. I thought I'd better tackle getting the rest of the really snowy shoots blogged before all the snow melted. This was one SNOWY photo shoot. In fact it was a bit of a blizzard on the edge of a very open field. The last photo in this post has NO editing on the back ground! Just goes to show what happens when you are born in Saskatoon (as these three all were) you just find something to do in the snow!
Kingston, true Saska-boy that he is, didn't fuss once (I fussed a bit.)
"Hello, my name is Kingston, please scroll down to see me freeze my bum off!"
