It's funny that since I've streamlined my wedding business, focus more on commercial and portraiture the result has been that the brides and grooms that approached me to capture their wedding days are men and women with such true senses of self that I feel like most engagement shoots are just following along, hanging out with friends and capturing a slice of their real lives. David's a musician, Karen's a nurse. They're just amazing people, period.
The bike you see in these photos was one that David found and refurbished just for Karen. I get a little giddy when I think about their August wedding...it`s just gonna be a great day!

Cava Spring Dinner

Throughout the year, Cava Secreta in Saskatoon plays host to fundraising dinners coordinated by Molly Lux Of Lux Events for the Saskatoon Opera. Each of the SEVEN exquisitely prepared courses is paired with a wine to suit. Accompanying the romance on your taste buds are musical treats from performers from the Saskatoon Opera. Unbelievable food, amazing wine pairings, exquisite music and delightful company!

I've photographed a lot of people in this extended family and they keep producing REALLY cute babies. You'll remember Tamara and Michael from their belly shoot here. Who knew that that belly was cultivating the greatest head of baby hair Saskatoon or Calgary has ever seen!?! Really though put your hand on the screen over his hair...hair or no hair, the kid's still a heart-breaker!

Last month Dawn Watier, owner and principal stylist of Dawn Watier Designs, invited me to capture the one year anniversary celebration for her hit boutique-style salon.
